How will GPs be informed of patient’s outcomes from a LDCT?

GPs will be informed of the outcomes of their patients' LDCT by email, which will be accompanied by a copy of the CT report and an information sheet from the clinical director of the programme.

These are for information only; all referrals and subsequent appointments are carried out by the TLHC team.

The following document shows the communications which will be sent out from the TLHC programme team.

Patient letters to GPs will be accompanied by a copy of the CT report and letter of advice from the TLHC clinical director relating to the incidental findings that may be identified as a result of a thoracic CT.
