Andrew Bennett

Chief Officer of Lancashire North CCG and Executive Lead for Commissioning for Lancashire and South Cumbria.
Andrew joined the NHS in Preston in 1989 and has a general management background. He was appointed as the Chief Officer of Lancashire North CCG in August 2012 having held senior roles in hospital management, commissioning and performance improvement. He was the Senior Responsible Officer for the ‘Better Care Together’ programme across Morecambe Bay between 2013 and 2018.
As a result of the partnership work undertaken to implement ‘Better Care Together’, Andrew became the Chief Officer of Morecambe Bay CCG in April 2017 and in September 2018 was appointed the Executive Lead for Commissioning for Lancashire and South Cumbria.
