Update regarding GP provision at ARG Healthcare, Dr Bello’s Surgery and King Street Medical Centre, Accrington

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the GP partners from Pendle View Medical Centre have temporarily taken over the provision of general practice services at ARG Healthcare, 257 Blackburn Road, Accrington; Dr Bello’s Surgery and King Street Medical Centre, both in Acorn Primary Healthcare Centre, Blackburn Road, Accrington.

The partners at Pendle View manage a large GP practice based in Brierfield which is rated ‘good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). They have provided assurances they can support all existing clinics, which will continue to operate as normal.

The priority of the ICB is to make sure patients have continued access to high-quality GP services with as little change or disruption as possible.

The way they contact the surgery remains unchanged.

If a patient has an appointment booked, this will go ahead as planned.

The long-term future of the practice will be determined in the coming year and patients will be updated as soon as possible.
