Decision: The minutes were agreed as an accurate record from the previous meeting.
Item 5: Market Engagement for the Special Allocation Scheme
To ensure continued access to General Medical Services for patients currently allocated to the Special Allocation Scheme, the Primary Care Commissioning Committee is required to decide the best option to secure ongoing service provision for these patients.
To inform this decision it was proposed that a market engagement exercise is undertaken.
Decision: The committee approved the proposed action to carry out a Request for Information to support the committee to decide the best option to secure ongoing service provision for the patients allocated to the Special Allocation Scheme.
The committee approved that the detailed request for information is signed off by the Primary Medical Services Group prior to its publication in line with recent market engagement exercises.
