Share your views on the long COVID services survey
From Thursday 1 May 2025, long COVID services in Lancashire and South Cumbria will no longer be commissioned as stand-alone services. These services have now closed to new referrals and the way in which patients with long COVID access support will change.
Why are we proposing this change?
This decision has been taken by NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB) following a significant drop in referrals, and due to national funding no longer being ring-fenced for these services from 1 April 2025.
